Imogene Moreland Rice 85, went home to be with her Lord and loved ones on January 14, 2008 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, AR. Born March 24, 1922 in Chalk Bluff, OK., she was the eight child of Collins McDonald and Elnora Woods Moreland.
She married Rexford Rice on July 10th, 1941 in Jasper, AR., and lived in several states during the early years before finally settling in Fayetteville, AR., to raise a family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Rex, and an infant son. She was also preceded in death by brothers; Ray, Edgar, Clem, Stanley and Watie Moreland and sister; Lucille Guthrie and Leo Jarnagan.
She is survived by her son; Bradley and wife Debra of Lincoln, AR., her daughter; Lisa Snowden of Rogers, AR., a sister; Gladys Crittenden of Birmingham, AL., granddaughters; Angela Patrick and Kelley Waggle of Farmington, AR., grandsons; Rex Rice of Springdale, AR., and Zach Rice of Fayetteville, AR., six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Moore's Chapel. Officiating; Chaplain J.W. Walker.
Burial; Farmington Cemetery.
