Emma "Fritzie" (Kasten) Rice

Emma "Fritzie" (Kasten) Rice
January 13, 1929 ~ August 5, 2022

Fritzie was born to Fred and Louise (Neinas) Kasten January 13, 1929 in Jacksonport, Wisconsin. All siblings and parents proceeded her in death as well as her husband Leo Max Rice in 1983 and grandson Derek Rice in 2021.

She enjoyed dancing and golf in earlier years and did some painting. Reading and writing were the activities she enjoyed the most. She also enjoyed traveling and her many friends.

She held various roles of employment and did volunteer work for Contact/Heartline, hospice, and was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She also did substitute teaching for 15 years.

Fritzie is survived by her children Jay Rice of Del city, Rocky and Retha Rice of Tuttle, OK, Cherry and David Werner of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren Jamie and Chris Moody, Kyle and Rachel Werner of Nashville, TN, Chad and Kasey Werner of Austin, TX; great-grandchildren Hannah Moody, Abigal Moody, Wright Werner and Max Werner.
