It is sad to announce the death of Elizabeth Ellen Cox Reser who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. W. Pate, 601 N. High Street, in Neosho, Missouri on the 22nd day of December, 1925 at 6:30 p.m.
Mrs. Reser had been in poor health for many years and had been confined to her bed for the past four years. She was at her daughter's home just three months to a day when the end came.
She was 87 years, 2 months and 12 days old.
She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Josiah Washington Reser and six children, three sons and three daughters, Mrs. L. W. Pate of Neosho, Missouri; A. B. Reser of Oologah, Oklahoma; Mrs. S. H. Rimbey of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; W. J. Reser of Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. W. W. Smith of Turley, Oklahoma; John Jacob Reser of Neosho, Missouri; as well as other relatives and friends.
She united with the Methodist Church in 1858 and lived a good Christian life in the church until 1898 when she united with the Latter Day Saints and has always lived a devoted Christian life. Her life was devoted to her family and home.
