Russell Bruce Reno Jr. passed away from this life on October 28th, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma, at the age of 41.
Russell Jr. was born on January 20, 1983, to Russell Bruce Reno and Cheryl Ann Reno (Cass) in Riverside, California. Russell married his beloved wife Tamara Renee Reno on March 3, 2018, in Durant, Oklahoma. Russell drove big rigs and worked construction much of his life. Russell enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles, riding with local motorcycle clubs for charity, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his wife, children, and the rest of his family. He thought of his nieces as his own children. His nieces called him “Duncle” instead of uncle, due to the close bond they had with him. He is loved by all who had the pleasure to know him and will be missed always.
Russell is preceded in death by his father, Russell Reno, grandparents, Merton and Norma Reno, and Betty and Sherman Cass.
Russell is survived by his loving wife of the home, Tamara Reno of Durant, OK, son, Daymian Reno of Durant, OK, son, Braedyn Reno of Atoka, OK, bonus daughter, Alison Pope of Durant, OK, bonus son, Jordan Pope of Durant, OK, bonus son, Justin Marshall of Blum, TX, mother, Cheryl Reno of Durant, OK, sister Shannon Reno of Durant, OK, sister, Amanda Burr and spouse Ethan of Durant, OK, nieces, Kenzie, McKayla, Haley, and Michelene.
A visitation will be held for Russell on November 5th, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma.
