Barbara Lynn Remshardt, of Durant, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital in Plano, TX.
Barbara was born on May 3, 1959, in Minoa, New York. She was the daughter of Robert William and Elizabeth Jean Jefferson Pickens. She graduated from Sherman High School and Grayson College with her Licensed Vocational Nursing Degree. Barbara worked for many years at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. She was a natural caregiver who loved nursing and truly enjoyed taking care of her patients. She was also a dedicated and loving mother to her children and grandchildren whom she encouraged and cheered on in every aspect of their lives.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Nicole Marie and husband Caleb Anthony Berry, son Jeffrey Brian Remshardt, grandchildren Jonas Allen Swope and Lilah Marie Berry all of Durant, OK, and sisters Deborah Paschke Kimberly Bush-Tomio and Cynthia Menton. Barbara loved her family and her many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and father, grandparents Richard and Elizabeth Deobold Jefferson and granddaughter Rowan Berry.
