Wanda Ruth (Trudy) Reilly, 89 of Del City was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven after a protracted disability on May 4th, 2017. Born and raised in Ada Oklahoma, Trudy attended East Central University and enjoyed a lifelong profession in nursing, retiring in 1985.
Married to John R. Reilly in 1976 she is survived by her husband John, son Vance Bowen of Edmond, Daughter Jan Teal of Ada, Daughter Laura Whitehead of Virginia Beach Virginia, Daughter Joan Sizemore of Ada, and 13 grandchildren.
In her retirement, Trudy enjoyed traveling and visited many foreign lands with her husband John. She was an avid reader and fan of classic films.
Trudy will be remembered for her generous nature and kind spirit. Everyone who had the good fortune of knowing her will miss her loving affection.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, or Quality Care Hospice.
Viewing is scheduled for
Monday, May 8 from 7pm to 8pm. Funeral service is scheduled for 10am
Tuesday, May 9 at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
