Belinda Marie (Rains) Regalado

Belinda Marie (Rains) Regalado
Nov 15, 1958 ~ Aug 22, 2016

Belinda Regalado, age 58 of Purcell, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016. Belinda Marie Rains was born November 15, 1958 in Purcell, OK, the youngest of 3 daughters born to Clarence James and Berta Maye (Hunt) Rains. She was raised in Purcell and attended Purcell Schools, graduating in 1977.

Belinda married Modesto Regalado in 1984, and they have lived in her family home on Gross Ventre ever since.

For many years, Belinda worked as lawn maintenance at the McClain County Courthouse. She was a jack of all trades; she was creative and could fix or make anything. Belinda enjoyed the simpler things in life. She like a diet coke and everything about George Strait, although she admitted she couldn't stand country music. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and baking, and looked forward to family get togethers and decorating for the holidays. Belinda loved all animals, and especially her dogs, Bubba, Prissy and Sissy. And she was known to always have a pot of coffee brewing. For the last 8 years, Belinda and Modesto have raised their great nephew, Kris, and she loved him like her own. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed!

She joins her family in passing: Her husband, Modesto Regalado; Her parents, Clarence and Berta Rains; 2 sisters, Debra Key Fielder and Marilynn Brightwell and Her nephew, Cody Fielder.

She is survived by: 3 nieces, Jamie Welch of Purcell, Jasa Fielder of Purcell and Keesha Brightwell of Ardmore. Great nieces & Nephews, Haley McGee, Dyan McGee, Morgan Ashford, Brighton Welch, Keenan Welch, Kristopher Welch, Michael Mata, Sueriana Mata, Shakota Doyle, Aspen Fielder, Zaza Fielder, Willow Watt, Jerick Watt and Kystain Watt and A host of other family and friends.
