Bokchito, OK- Martha Sue (Wigley) Reeves was born Sunday, January 7, 1945 in Bennington, Oklahoma to James Henry Wigley and Hazel Marie (Yandell) Wigley. She passed from this life on Friday, June 25, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 76.
Martha married Willis Reeves in Arlington, Texas. She worked as a homemaker and owned a children’s daycare. Martha’s passion were taking care of kids and family cooking. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bokchito.
Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis Reeves; sisters, Flo Latham, JoAnn Hill, and Donna Wright; brothers, James H. Wigley and Daniel Clay Wigley.
She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Rogers and her husband, Kevin, of Moore, OK; son, Roger Reeves and his significant other, Jana, of Fairfield, TX; brothers, John Wigley and his wife, Barbara, of Sherman, TX, and Harold Wigley and his wife, Louise, of Ada, OK; grandsons, Malachi Rogers of Moore, OK, Roger Allen Reeves of Fairfield, TX, Richard Reeves of Fairfield, TX, and Logan Reeves of Fairfield, TX; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services to celebrate Martha’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 in Brown’s Funeral Service chapel in Durant, OK with Mr. Chris Wigley officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 30, from 6-8 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant.
