It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Reese on January 28, 2023, at the age of 64. Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma. A balloon release will be held on March 17th, 2023 at 901 N. Cleveland, Cushing, OK at 3:00 p.m.
Patricia was born on March 17, 1958, to Raymond Pettis Sr and Lethia Mae Hagler. She was one of thirteen children born in Cushing, Oklahoma. Patricia received her GED and went on to college at Rose State. From an early age, she was a hard-working woman who dedicated herself to whatever task that laid ahead of her. Becoming a mother of her five children was something she truly cherished. She remained dedicated to her children, providing every one of their needs.
She was so dedicated to her family and loved the life she was blessed with. Especially when her grandchildren arrived. She loved to cook for them and spoil them. Patricia cared so much for people, spending time helping those at the nursing home and bringing a smile to those she worked with. When she wasn’t taking care of her family and helping those who needed her, she spent her time listening to beautiful music and winning at the casino. Patricia was so full of life.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, aunts, Martha Lee Hagler and Rosie Martin; uncles, Willie “JR” Hagler, Herman Hagler, Marvin Hagler, and Mack Hagler; sisters, Beverly Hagler, Phyllis Pettis, Helen English, Doris Johnson and Annette Mixon.
She is survived by her children, Montareco Reese, Billy Willis Jr., Shan Prather, Ruby Garcia, Cinnammon Prather and wife Lucie, and Shian Prather; grandchildren, Dishay Fanly, Taryn Jackson, Melita Willis, Aaron Willis, Gianni Garcia, Jasean Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Shan Prather Jr., Amauri Prather, Hamza Robinson, Haleema Robinson, Tylliah Kinnard, Marvin Prather, Malcolm Prather, Amya Bell, Marviana Prather ; and one great grandchild, Gianni Raymond Garcia Jr; her sisters, Erma Pettis, Tracey Hagler Austin, Mable Hagler, Lynn Hancock, and Michelle Jenson; brothers, Vincent “Punchie” Hagler, Donnie Hagler and Raymond Pettis Jr.; aunt, Katherine “Che-Che” Shinult.
Patricia had a host of many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved and adored. She wanted nothing more than to live her final days around the ones she loved the most. Patricia will truly be missed by her family and all those that knew her.
