Jeffery Glenn Reese 74, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at his home in Kingston. He was born on October 11, 1947 in Post, Texas to the late O. D. Reese and Virginia Evans Reese. Glenn was raised in Post and later moved to Whitesboro, Texas where he attended high school.
He was drafted into the United States Army and served 2 years in Vietnam. After returning home he surrendered to the ministry, attended Arlington Baptist Seminary, and graduated in 1975. He married Janice Williams on August 2, 1973 in Fort Worth, Texas. He became a youth minister and minister of music. His wife Janice served along side him in churches in Texas and New York before moving to Oklahoma in 1986. Glenn served as a minister of music at numerous churches in the Southern Oklahoma area, the last being Ravia Baptist. He did volunteer work for Kingston School activities, and he also helped Santa Claus for several years. Glenn was a member of the Alumni of Arlington Baptist Seminary, the DAV, and the Ravia Baptist Church
He is survived by wife: Janice Reese, Kingston, Oklahoma; Children:
Jeffery Reese and wife Laurie, Gatesville, Texas, Jodi Gaddis and husband
Steve, Kingston, Oklahoma, Jill Neeley and husband Nicholas, Kingston,
Oklahoma
Grandchildren: Tanner and Spencer Holland, Heidi, Evan and Isaac
Neeley, Zaylee Gaddis, Jessica Huddleston, Brandye Toombs, Jason, Joseph,
Patricia, Jessica Reese; Brother: Terry Reese and wife Lolita, Washington
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother, Dale Reese.
