Connie Lyn Reese, 52, of Osage, passed away from this life on Wednesday March 1, 2023, at her home. Connie was born June 7, 1970, in Stillwater to Carl William and Cleo (Cypret) Rose. She was raised in the Stillwater and Perkins area, graduating from Stillwater HS with the class of 1988. She was a hard worker and held many titles throughout her life.
In August of 2007, she met Tracy Reese, and they were united in marriage on March 15, 2008, at the Osage 1st Baptist Church in Osage. They made their home in Cleveland before moving to Osage. Connie was very crafty, (Mila had a shirt for EVERYTHING) and enjoyed hanging out with her best friend Kim Garrison. Kim and Mila were Connie’s best friends. Her loved ones describe Connie as the most selfless woman. She did everything for everyone, she always made sure everyone was taken care of. She was a friend to anyone who knew her. But what brought her the greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed making food for Bitty (Tristian) before football games (or ordering an entire pizza for him after his parents said no), picking Mila up from school for their daily On Cue trips, and just being there for everyone when she could be. Connie was also the Mayor of the big town of Osage.
Connie is survived by her husband Tracy; children –Tobi Garrett and fiancé Lance Inks of Cleveland Ok; Jesse Garrett of Osage Ok; Joseph Reese and wife Margie of Tulsa ok; Brooke Reese of Glenpool; her mother Cleo Rose and a brother Greg Rose of Carney, OK. Also surviving are grandchildren Ieva, Alyzee, Tristian, Averie, Mila, Emma, Annlynn, Deliah, Everly and Jacob, nephew Brandon Frame & wife Kristy and their child Hudson, niece and nephews Mikael, Shea, and Josie.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, a brother Guy Wesley, and sisters Carla Ann and Cynthia Louise.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 11th at the Westport Baptist Church with Ray Early and Justin White officiating. ”. Services and cremation have been entrusted to the Chapman-Black Funeral Home of Cleveland.
