Wilma Lorraine Reed, age 80, a resident of Westville, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born April 1, 1938 in Clovis, New Mexico, the daughter of Leonard Luther and Vada Lorraine (Wilhite) Howard.
Wilma attended Morrow, Lincoln and Westville Schools, graduating from Westville in 1956. Wilma was married May 11, 1956 to J.D. Eagleton and had three children Debra, Dwayne and Greg.
She lived on a farm in Adair County and retired in 1990 from the State of Oklahoma after 31 years. She always stayed busy after retirement working part time and spending time with family. Wilma was very proud of her four grandchildren Bradley and Deidra Eagleton and Kyle and Kory Wilson. She enjoyed being with the family and going to functions with the grandchildren.
Wilma was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Westville for many years where she played the piano and organ as needed.
Wilma married Ronald Reed December 9, 2008. He was a childhood friend from Morrow, Arkansas. They attended grade school together. Rev. Ronald Reed was the pastor of the Calvary Heights Temple in Tulsa, Oklahoma and had been there several years.
Wilma was preceded in death by her father Leonard Howard, stepfather Harvie Reed, mother Vada Reed, son Leonard Gregory Eagleton and daughter Debra Rene' Wilson.
Survivors include her husband Ronald Reed of the home; son Dwayne and wife, Tammy Eagleton of Westville, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Brad and Deidra Eagleton of Westville, Oklahoma, Kyle and Kory Wilson of Coweta, Oklahoma. One sister, Pamela and husband Bert Stephens of Westville, Oklahoma, Nephew Philip and wife Shanda of Westville, Oklahoma, Niece Penny and husband Steven Meridith of Westville, Oklahoma and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 - 2:00 p.m. at Faith Holiness Church in Westville, Oklahoma. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas.
