Tommy Edward Reed was born on April 5, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life at his home with his family on Friday, February 20, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 77.
Tommy, the son of William and Wilma Fults Reed, was a resident of Prague.
He graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City in 1955.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1964. He and his mother were very active members of the First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City.
Tommy married Olivia Jilge on April 24, 1987, in Oklahoma City.
He worked for Cains Coffee Company for 47 years, retiring in 1997.
They were owners of Designs by Olivia Weddings and Flowers in Edmond, Oklahoma until the business sold in 2004.
In 1997, Tommy moved to Prague, just south of town, to become a gentlemen farmer after being a city boy all of his life.
He and his family were members of the Calvary Way Church Family.
His parents and mother-in-law, Lorene Jilge, preceded Tommy in death.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Olivia Jilge Reed of the home; daughters, Amber Villines of Oklahoma City; Shawnna Villines of Oklahoma City; and Heather and Robert Villines-Layman of Sparks; grandchildren, Cierra and John Dyer; Zachary and Kenzie Ashcraft; Wyatt Reed Ashcraft; Hannah Hackney; Halleigh Hackney; Lil� Heather Layman and Niki Layman; great grandkids, Zane and Kenadi Hause; and Paisley Ashcraft; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Lynn Jilge of Prague; and their children, Shannon Kupka and Todi Jilge Hale; and grandchildren, Michael David Hale and Ryan Hale; other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Way Church in Prague with Rev. Starland Davis officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
