Milton Lee Reed, 85, of Eucha, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025. He was born on November 8, 1939, in Keystone, Oklahoma, to Charles M. Reed and Delma (Malcolm) Reed. Milton lived a life full of love, faith, and adventure; touching the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Milton was a man of many passions. He loved fishing, treasure hunting, and above all, sharing his love for Jesus with others through his ministry work. He was an avid board game player and lifelong fan of Elvis Presley’s music. He also greatly loved Civil War history.
In 1958, Milton met the love of his life, Shirley Mae Frazee, and they were married on February 2, 1959. Together they raised four children: Rebecca, Darren, Jacquetta, and Janelle.
Milton worked in various industries throughout his life, including the oil fields, a steel factory, on a farm, and for the county.
Milton is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley; his children, Rebecca of Eucha, Oklahoma, Darren and Terry Reed of Strang, Oklahoma, and Jacquetta and Steve Brady of Strang, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his brothers, Eddie and Mike; his sisters, Meta and Charlotte; his grandchildren; Sonya and Tim Currington, Schelle and Shaun Holland, Jacob and Erica Brady, Robert Kirby, Cory Brady, and Matthew Brady; as well as 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way.
Milton is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Janelle; and his brother, Harold.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 17, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home Langley, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Strang First Baptist Church with Pastor Justin Turner officiating.
