Funeral service for John Fredrick Reed, age 69 of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Octobert 31, 2005, in the First Lutheran Church, Rev. David Thompson will officiate.
John Fredrick Reed was born the son of Richard Raymond Reed and Helen Weible Reed on June 18, 1936, in Leonardville, Kansas. He died on October 27, 2005 in Chickasha. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, in the Lincolnville Cemetery in Lincolnville, Kansas.
Services will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

John Fredrick Reed was born the son of Richard Raymond Reed and Helen C. Weible Reed on June 18, 1936, in Leonardville, Kansas. He died on October 27, 2005, in Chickasha.
He married Virginia L. Lueker on June 18, 1960, in Lincolnville, Kansas.
John grew up in Kansas and graduated from Herington High School in Herington, Kansas, in 1954. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1963. John worked as a railroad engineer from 1957 to 1998.
He attended the First Lutheran Church in Chickasha.
John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald.
Survivors include: Wife: Virginia Reed of the home; Daughter: Brenda Reed of Lawrence, Kansas; Daughter & Husband: Janice & Jim Crowder of Enterprise, Kansas; Daughter: Donna Reed of Topeka, Kansas; Daughter: Nite Reed of Herington, Kansas; Brother: Charles M. Reed of Kansas City, Missouri; Brother: Terry Reed of Tucson, Arizona; Granddaughter & Husband: April & J. D. Barrett of Herington, Kansas; Granddaughter: Nicole Herpick of Iola, Kansas; Granddaughter: Amber Reed of Herington, Kansas; Two Great Grandsons: Damien & Logan Barrett of Herington, Kansas.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, in the Lincolnville Cemetery in Lincolnville, Kansas.
Services will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
