Clarence M. Reed, longtime Cushing resident, retired from Dalton Industries, passed away early Saturday morning, December 26, 2009 at the age of 79 years.

The son of the late Perry Lowell Reed and Rzora Blankenship Reed, Clarence was born on November 7, 1930 in Gilman, MO and was reared and educated in Missouri.

Clarence was retired from Dalton Industries in Cushing.

He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

He enjoyed traveling and was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife of almost 16 years, Rosalind Reed of the home; two daughters, Rosalind Reed and Rzora Reed; two Brothers, Perry Reed and Ben Reed; one sister Roberta Greenall; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Willade and Leia.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at 2 P.M. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Pastor C.L. Hall, pastor of the Faith Baptist Church, officiating.
