Donald Mason Reaves, Jr.
August 28, 1954 ~ October 15, 2013 (age 59)

Donald Reaves, Jr., 59, passed from this life Tuesday, October 15, 2013 after a fierce battle with cancer.  He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Don and Joan Reaves on August 28, 1954 and spent 23 happy years married to his one true love, Tammy.  Don often said he was the luckiest man in the world.  He was an amazing and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He was outgoing and loved to talk to anyone and everyone.  Don was a gifted singer and performer and loved riding his motorcycle.  He was exceedingly proud of his daughters and grandchildren.  Don worked for the City of Norman and volunteered many years as Santa Claus for city events and Cub Scouts.  He was an enthusiastic Sooner football fan.

Don was preceded in death by his son, Spencer; brother, Mark; parents; and father-in-law, Myron Towers.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughters, Molly and Amanda; twin grandchildren, Elijah and Ava; sister, Beth; and brother-in-law, Kregg Kepler; brother, Steven; sister, Mary and husband Boyd Fulton; nephews, Mitchell Trace, Ian Hecht, Daniel Fulton, Aaron Richmond, and Keith Kepler; nieces, Mallory Fulton and Sarah Culpepper; mother-in-law, Nina Towers; and sister-in-law, Linda Richmond.

Don will be honored in a Celebration of Life Service held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2013 at Antioch Community Church, 1330 E. Lindsey Street in Norman.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Don Reaves to the charity of your choice.

Arrangements for Don and his family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.  Online condolences may be shared at Havenbrookfuneralhome.com.
