Funeral services for Ralph Allen Ream, Sr., 69, of Cyril, Will be Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 11:30 AM, in the Full Gospel Holiness Church, Cyril, with Rev. Donnie Miller, pastor, officiating. Mr. Ream died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 in Carlisle, PA.
He was born July 18, 1935 in Fawn Grove, PA to James Allen Ream and Evelyn Mae (Wright). He grew up and attended school in Felton, PA. He served in the U.S. Army in the early 50s during the Korean War. He married Karen Lee (Cole) July 12, 1961 in Warren, Ohio. They had lived in Ohio, Florida, Texas and moved to Fletcher, in 1993 and for the last 3 and half years has lived in Cyril. Ralph was a truck driver most his working life, most recently leasing his truck to DART and trucking across country.
Survivors include his wife, Karen, of the home; one daughter, Cindy Lou Hamilton of West Virginia; six sons, James Allen Bland of Cyril, Ralph Allen Ream, Jr., of Richmond, VA, Jason Alan Ream of Cyril, Terry Allen Ream of Sterling, Shane Gary Ream of Cortland, OH and Shawn William Ream of Cyril; 28 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Janet McCoy of York, PA and Kay Lackey of Bakersfield, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Goldie Lyons of Eugene, Ore.
Services are under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. Visitation is set for Tuesday, February 8, 2005 from 9 AM till 8 PM at the funeral home.
