James David Ray

James David Ray
September 4, 1949 ~ August 16, 2023

James David Ray, 73, of Owasso, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2023 at St John Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was born on September 4, 1949 in Longview, TX. He attended Pine Tree High School for his education. James had a long and fulfilling career of more than 40 years at The Crosby Group.

James will be deeply missed by his family. He is survived by his sons, Jason David Ray of Nacogdoches, TX, James Damon Ray of Longview, TX, James Dustin Ray of Collinsville, OK, Joshua Derek Ray of Owasso, OK, and daughter, Jamie Danielle Ray of Owasso, OK. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, cousins and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father William E. Ray Jr., mother Mildred I. Ray (Hall), and sister Nancy Summers (Ray).

James David Ray will be remembered for his sense of humor and love for hunting and sports. He was incredibly proud of his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
