Jake Ray
June 12, 1942 ~ November 02, 2019

Jake Ray, a resident of Wapanucka, Oklahoma passed from this life in Denison, Texas on November 2, 2019 at the age of 77. He was born in on June 12, 1942 to Otho B. Ray and Irene (Williamson) Ray. Family hour will be from 1-2:00 PM on Wednesday November 6, 2019 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma. A memorial service in his honor will start at 2:00 PM with Frank Wallace as officiant.

Jake enjoyed hunting and fishing. The loved the taste of fresh pecans and enjoyed picking them up and cracking them. Jake like trying his luck gambling at times.

Mr. Ray is survived by his siblings, Jack Ray of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Edward Ray of Wylie, Texas, Faye Kite of Whitney, Texas, Morene and husband Gary Norman of Reno, Texas and Baker Ray and wife Shirley of Durant, Oklahoma.

Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Irene Ray; siblings, John Ray, Eugene Ray, Orvil Ray, Sue Morgan, and Dorothy Brown.
