John Rasys, age 88, of Lawton passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton.
John was born on May 10, 1932 in Brimfield, Massachusetts to John and Esther Rasys. In 19611, he married the love of his life Alma Rasys and they would spend the next fifty-four wonderful years together before her death in 2014. John retired from Boing, where he worked as an aviation mechanic. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his dog Molly, but most of all, he loved spending time with friends and family.
Preceded in death by his wife Alma Rasys; his parents, John and Esther Rasys and one son, Ernie Rasys, John is survived by one son, Paul Rasys and wife Patti of Lawton; three grandchildren, Jeremy Rollins and wife Monica of Indiahoma, Jenifer Hilliary and husband Kevin of Elgin and Jake Snow and wife April of Lawton and seven great grandchildren, Bailey Dutton, Bethany Dutton, Ethan Wheeler, Emily Hilliary, Cooper Wheeler, Samantha Hilliary and Aiden Snow along with several other relatives and close friends.
