William “Bill” Terry Rasure, of Marietta, OK, was born April 3, 1947, in Gainesville, TX, to Cleo Malcolm Rasure and Kathleen (Clark) Rasure. He passed away at his Marietta residence on Thursday evening, March 5, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Bill graduated from Gainesville High School in 1965 and soon developed a passion for working with heavy equipment. He worked for Glen Schaffer before eventually starting his own construction business. Bill lived on Moss Lake for more than 20 years, where he loved spending time on the water.

After retiring at the age of 55, Bill enjoyed spending time at the Gainesville VFW, where he could often be found playing dominoes with friends. In 2006, he moved from Moss Lake to Marietta.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Bryan Terry Rasure; a brother, Malcolm Rasure; and sisters Patricia Tribble, Kathy Smith, and Peggy Petty.

Those left to cherish Bill’s memory are his two granddaughters, several nieces and nephews, and other extended family members.
