Memorial services for Karla Sue “Susie” Ranells, 49, of Sulphur are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Rev. Drew Isaacs will officiate.
Mrs. Ranells died Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her home. She was born April 19, 1966 in Orange County, California to Michael Don “Butch” Shaw and Patricia Ann Kuepler Shaw. She attended Byng schools.
Susie married Norman Eugene “Cotton” Ranells July 16, 2000. She was a homemaker and had previously worked as a nurse’s aide at several nursing homes and also at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada.
Survivors include her husband, Cotton, of the home; two sons, David Winters and Michael Winters, both of Ada; a daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Hart of Sulphur; her siblings, Thresa Ross and her husband Roy and Kelly Russell and husband Thadd, all of Ada, Michael Shaw and wife Amber of Shawnee, Margaret Dewitt of Ada, Michelle Cole of Ada, Ethan Shaw of Francis and Keith Brock of Phoenix, AZ; her father, Michael Don “Butch” Shaw and his wife Theresa of Francis; two grandchildren, Jayli Winters and Brody Perryman; a step-son, Doug Isaacs and wife Carrie of Konawa; step-daughter, Jessi Kay Isaacs; six step-grandchildren, Elda, Erin, Silas, Moses, Rindi and Chase; two nephews, Cole Sliger and Cale Russell; a niece, Jayci Jo Harris; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Pat Hulsey and Arlie Hulsey; and a nephew, Kase Harris.
