Cheri Lynn Taylor Ramsey was born March 24, 1959 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Billy Gene Taylor and Anna Louise Taylor Reidy and passed away after an extended battle with cancer on February 3, 2017.
Cheri went to Sooner High School in Bartlesville, OK where she was a member of the choir, graduating in 1977. She then attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. For a number of years, she worked at Phillips 66.
Cheri loved to write poems and short stories, playing the piano and bowling. She especially enjoyed the mountains of Colorado and sight-seeing.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cheri is survived by her husband, Kenneth Phillip Ramsey; son, Sgt (R) William Danial Stokes and his wife, Khristmas Amber Stokes; daughter, Taylor Brittney Stokes; grandchildren, Devin, April, Jettisen and Mackenzie Stokes and Alexys Newton; brother, Kent Alan Taylor as well as other extended family.
A come-and-go reception for Cheri will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 from 2-3:30pm at Adam�s Boulevard Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
