Brian Ralph Ramsey

April 23, 1963 ~ March 7, 2008

Brian Ralph Ramsey, 44 years of age, passed from this life on March 7, 2008 as a result of an oilfield accident.

He was born on April 23, 1963 to Lawrence Sr. and Betty Richardson Ramey in Sacramento, California.

Brian attended Oakview, Lou Pastor, San Juan and Mariposa schools.

He married Tammy Lee Gage in Sacramento, California on March 27, 2002. Their family was blessed with six children, Desiree, Jonas, Damien, James, Wilma and Madison. The family made their home in Citrus Heights, California before moving to Camargo, Oklahoma in 2006.

Brian worked as a semi truck driver in the Camargo area.

Spending time with his family and friends was what he liked to do best.

He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding motorcycles.

He was baptized in September 2007 at a men's Christian retreat in Glorieta, New Mexico. He attended the Harvest Fellowship Church and participated in the Great Adventure children's ministry and Men's Life group.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Ramey; his brother, Charles Eugene Ramey; and step-mother Maxine Ramsey.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Ramsey of the home in Camargo, Oklahoma; his children James Rocheteau, Wilma Rocheteau, and Madison Ramey all of Camargo, Oklahoma; Desiree Ramey, Jonas Escalera, and Damien Rocheteau all of Sacramento, California; his father, Lawrence Ramey, Jr. of Camargo, Oklahoma; one niece, two nephews, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in the South Canadian Neighbors Center, Camargo, Oklahoma under the direction of Shaw Funeral Home, Vici, Oklahoma.
