ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Charlotte Kay Ramos, 49, of Oilton, will be 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, July 18, 2013, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Pastor Kevin Choate officiating and under the kind guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service. Visitation with family will be tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Stittsworth’s.
Charlotte was born on Oct. 18, 1963, in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Charlie and Wilma Beebe Ramos and passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013, in Oklahoma City.
She was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1982.
Charlotte then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she received her B.A. degree in commercial art and a B.S. degree in psychology. She was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Little Sisters “Pikettes” Club. She attended Heritage College and Heritage Institute, receiving her massage and medical therapy certificate.
Charlotte owned and operated Lavender Garden Medical Massage. She also received her state certification in case management and behavioral health rehab specialist, state drug and alcohol counselor, and state gambling counselor.
She was employed with the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma at the time of her passing as a VAW Advocate.
Charlotte loved her family, art, fishing, watching movies, attending concerts, antiques, animals and all things beautiful.
Survivors include her daughters, Lauren Keely Nossaman and Charli Blu Nossaman; mother, Wilma Ramos; fiance’, Pedro Cantero; brother, Richard Ramos; sister, Kathy Perigo-Stoer and husband Mark; nephews, Marcus and wife Kristin Martinez, Bryan and wife Mandy Perigo; great-nieces, Justice and Sophia; great-nephews, Adrian and Jett; dearest friends, Sandra Seltenreich Dover and Diane McConville; extended family, and many loved ones.
Charlotte was preceded in passing by her father, Charlie Ramos; grandparents, Jose and Anita Ramos, and David and Audry Beebe.
In lieu of flowers, the family has selected memorial donations to be made directly to the family.
