Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, from 12:00 9:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Cemetery on King and Potomac Avenues.
Pauline (Skip) Raley was born on January 22, 1917 in Madill Oklahoma to James William Dillard and Della Eldrige.
She relocated to California during the Dust Bowl Days and remained in Bakersfield for almost 70 years.
She worked as a cook for about thirty years in Bakersfield, CA.
She passed away on November 26, 2005 in Bakersfield, CA.
She loved the Lord Jesus and now is at peace in his arms.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her three sons, Andrew Knight, along with her father, mother, two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth and Diann Knight from Bakersfield, Jay and Pat Knight from Tehachapi, and Paul and Betty Knight from Tishamingo, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry Knight, David Knight, Keith Knight, Leon Knight, Andrew Lerude, and Jordan Vasquez.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff, nurses and all the aids at Evergreen Rest Home. And special thanks to Optimal Hospice.
