Nola Bonnie (Sanders) Rains

October 21, 1944 ~ April 7, 2024

A memorial service for Depew resident, Nola Rains, will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27th at the Church of the First Born in Bristow, Oklahoma. Nola was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 21, 1944 to the late Clive Sanders & Faye (Stover) Sanders. She passed from this life at her residence in Depew on April 7, 2024 at the age of 79 years, 5 months, & 17 days. Nola was raised & educated in Tahlequah & Depew. She married Jeral Dean Rains in Shawnee, Oklahoma on August 20, 1963 & they remained together until his death in 2012. Nola enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, singing, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Jimmy Sanders; & 2 Sisters: Lillie Stoddard & Loretta Sanders.

She is survived by her children: Loretta Cooper & spouse Mike – Larry Rains & spouse Teryl - George Rains & spouse Mary; extended children: Alicia Copeland & Kimberly Hale; Grandchildren: Drew & Haley – Gabe & Fryka – Aaron – Thomas & Nikki – Heather – Noah – Josh – Austin – Hillary - Diamond - Haley – Jacob - Kevin; Great Grandchildren: Ashton – Kelton – Kepler - Savannah; plus numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
