Jana R. (Spradlin) Ragan, 61, Ardmore, was born on January 5, 1955 in Duncan, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charles and Joyce Spradlin, and passed away peacefully on March 1, 2016 at her residence, following a battle with cancer.
She taught children for many years in daycare then worked for Cowley County Juvenal Center. Jana attended schools at Healdton, Oklahoma, where she graduated. She then attended Dixon Business College.
She married Ronald L. Ragan on August 14, 1981 in Ardmore. Jana was a member of Northeast Baptist Church of Ardmore. She was at the church every Sunday. She will be remembered for her faith in God, her smile, and how she always saw the best in everyone.
Jana leaves behind her husband, Ronald L. Ragan of the residence; son, Jerry Ragan and three daughters, Kelly, Mary, and Christy all of Kansas. Two sisters, Jane Ann and Judy, brother, John Spradlin.
Jana was preceded in passing by her parents, brother, Joe Spradlin.
Memorial services were held at Mt. Zion Church, Ringling, on March 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. She will be missed by all who knew her.
