Marilyn (Crosby) Rader
September 16, 1947 ~ October 12, 2019

Marilyn Crosby Rader, 72, left her earthly home on October 12, 2019.

She was born to John and Beulah Crosby on September 16, 1947 in Baxley, Georgia.

Ms. Rader shared the title of first born with her twin, Myrle Taylor(deceased).

She married Donald Wayne Rader and enjoyed many years together in Nowata before his death on April 9, 2017. She shared two children with Johnnie Swalley. Bobby Swalley and Becky Swalley Foster both of Nowata.

Ms. Rader was a dedicated and hard working waitress at Bliss Restaurant for many years and most recently a hostess at El Tapatio Restaurant. She enjoyed taking vacations to Jekyll Island and Fernandina Beach, Florida. She dearly loved her family and pets.

She loved to shop and had a penchant for purses and fancy rings. She also loved to watch football, especially those Georgia Bulldogs.

Ms. Rader is survived by her son, Bobby Swalley and his wife Tammy of Nowata. a daughter, Becky Swalley Foster and her husband Adam of Nowata.

Her grandchildren include Travis Swalley, Brax Hubbard and his wife Morgan, Nathan Moore, Kailey Moore, Nevaeh and Hayden Foster.

She had three great-grandchildren, Kamden and Kembry Hubbard and Myla Moore.

Ms. Rader grew up in a large and loving family and her surviving siblings include 8 sisters- Joann Seward and her husband John, Mary Roark and her husband Phillip, Wanell Cummings, Bertie Cone and her husband Hardy, Winifred Crosby, Connie Thrift and her husband John and Johnny Faye Perry. She had many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a stillborn daughter, and her only brother, Dennis Crosby.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
