Mary S. (Heaton) Quintana

June 22, 1936 ~ August 19, 2007

No memorial services have been scheduled at this time for Mary S. Quintana, 71, of Marietta.

Born June 22, 1936 in Shawnee, the daughter of Harold and Cleo Robinson Heaton, she died Sunday, August 19, 2007, in Mercy Health Love County Hospital, Marietta.

A resident of Marietta for the past 16 years, Mrs. Quintana had previously made her home in Oklahoma City. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her grandchildren. Mrs. Quintana was a member of the Trinity Church in Marietta.

Survivors include her companion, David Owens of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Leo “Sam” and Anna Quintana of Marietta; three daughters and sons-in-law, Nonie Quintana and Pat Allen of McBride, Shelley Cumberledge and Kristi and Charles Brown, all of Marietta; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Beverly Heaton of Seligman, Missouri; a sister, Betty Huntsman of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two expected great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, brother, niece and grandmother.

Honorary pallbearers wee Dr. J.T. O’Connor, Raymond Jackson and the nursing staff at Mercy Health Love County Hospital.
