Margaret “Linda” Jo (Grammer) Quinn was born on January 29, 1947 in Sparks, OK and departed this life on Sunday, May 8th, 2022 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 75.
Linda Jo (Grammer) Quinn was born to William B Grammer and Elsie M (Speer) Grammer. She was a resident of Stroud most of her life. Linda met her husband, Charles Cleo Quinn in Stroud, OK and they shared one of their first dates at the Rock Café. They later married on March 6, 1963 and had 56 wonderful years of marriage together. She was a small business owner and a proud homemaker. She was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud, OK.
Linda was well known for her love of fishing. She and her friend Susie Evans were members of the Military Bass Anglers Association and Guys & Gals Fishing Association of Oklahoma, where they fished many tournaments. She loved tending to her flowers, and riding in her golf cart around her country side property. Her greatest joy was living life with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends!
Linda was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Troy Benton, John Robert, sisters: Mary Kathern, and Billie Mae. Linda is survived by two sons Charles D Quinn and wife Sherri of Stroud, OK; Douglas G Quinn and wife Tricia of Catoosa, OK; two brothers and one sister in-law, Thomas O Grammer, Albert E Grammer and wife Shirley; one sister Beverly N Ward. Seven grandchildren Brandon K Quinn, Kimberly R Aguero, Brandie S Quinn, Douglas A Quinn, Lacey A Davis, Christopher S Council, Cody J Council, 14 great grand-children, many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:30AM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud, OK with Pastor Mike Haines officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud, OK.
