Funeral service for Derek Austin Quimby, 25, of Fairview, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Fairview, OK. The Reverend Hal Penner will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home INC.
Derek Austin Quimby was born August 5, 1990 to Mark Henry Quimby and Jessica Christine (Crow) Quimby in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life June 24, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Derek attended Fairview Schools, graduating with the Class of 2009. He was a truck driver in the oilfield. But his favorite pastime was his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved his children very much, Ella Grace and Aaron Tate as well as his five nephews and two nieces.
Survivors include his children; Ella and Aaron, mother, Jessica Christine Quimby of Fairview, brother Jeremy Quimby of Mustang, OK, sister, Lorie Gomez of Shawnee, OK, grandmother Joann Hough of Fairview, soulmate Brittany Dawn Major of Fairview, 7 nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
His father and brother, Aaron preceded him in death.
