Richard Celestino Querido, aged 67, passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2024, in Caddo, Oklahoma. He was born on December 6, 1956, in Minillia, PI, to Nemo and Marie Celestino Querido. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been part of his life.
Richard's journey through life was marked by his dedication to his family and his passion for his work. He earned a master’s degree that paved the way for a successful career as a maintenance electrical engineer at Cardinal Glass. Richard’s intelligence extended to his hobbies as well. He found joy in the challenge of working on cars. His commitment to his community was evident by his active involvement in the St. Williams Catholic Church, where he served with devotion and made many lifelong friends.
Richard's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife, Lisa Querido of Caddo, Oklahoma; his sons, Richard Luttrull of Phoenix, Arizona, and Roman Querido of Fort Meyers, Florida; his daughters, Rebecca Querido of Phoenix, Arizona, Raven Querido of Caddo, Oklahoma, and Raegan Querido of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a cherished brother to Raymond Querido of San Diego, California, Robert Querido of Aurora, Illinois, Franz Garcia of Naperville, Illinois, and Ulisa Garcia of Aurora, Illinois; and a loving sibling to sisters Liza Querido of Aurora, Illinois, and Luchris Garcia of Naperville, Illinois. His memory will also be treasured by his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to honor Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
