Dorothy Queen

July 9, 1924 ~ July 24, 2016

Private family services for Dorothy Queen are set to be arranged with family. Dorothy passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 92.

Dorothy Queen was born July 9, 1924 in Paris, Texas, to Will and Ellie Mae (Butts) Queen. She lived in Hugo for the last 30 years after moving from Paris, TX. She enjoyed watching TV, playing Bingo, and going to get her hair done. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Thelma Nowell; and her brother, Elmer Queen.

Dorothy is survived by her nephew, David Burl Jones, and his wife, Linda, of Hugo, OK; her great nephew, Haskell Jones of Hugo, OK; her great great niece, Hannah Jones, of Hugo, OK; and her great great nephew, Payton Jones, of Hugo, OK.
