Services for Wayne Everett Putnam, 76, were Saturday in the Bryan County Funeral Chapel, Colbert. Mr. Putnam died October 21, 1992, in the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, Durant.
Born January 31, 1916, he was the son of S.L. and Carrie Putnam. He married Mary Alice Brown December 31, 1938, in Hendrix, and she preceded him in death on September 6, 1979. Mr. Putnam was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Carrie Putnam of Colbert; a son, Billy Putnam of Paoli; three grandsons, Jerry Putnam of Marietta, Gary Putnam of Greenbush, Michigan, and William Putnam of Paoli; a great-granddaughter, Chanoel Putnam of Greenbush; and seven step great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Carpenters Bluff, Texas.
