Narma Jean was born to Vynone (Pullan) and Floyd Roach on July 8, 1947 in Alva, Oklahoma. She departed this world peacefully surrounded by her family at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City on January 11, 2022. She was 74 years, 6 months, and 3 days old.
She married the love of her life, Donald E. Prophet, at the age of 24 years on May 22, 1971. To this union three children, all boys, were born: Greg, Bradford and the youngest, Keary.
In 2004 she lost her oldest son, Greg Warren, to a gunshot wound. Instead of drowning in sorrow, as most would struggle, she continued to live life to the fullest with no regrets.
Around the age of 60 years old both Narma and Donald boldly adopted two of their oldest grandchildren, Kyler and Kyra Prophet. They dedicated the majority of the rest of their lives loyally nurturing, providing, empowering, protecting and ultimately loving beyond words.
Narma was a woman of many passions including spending time in the kitchen, drinking coffee and watching the local news and QVC, putting together and solving puzzles in her free time, listening to and collecting Elvis Presley music and memorabilia, and later on in life her grandchildren.
Narma was a kind-hearted, loving mother and wife who spoiled her grandchildren without complaint, she was sweet, with a side of zest.
Narma is preceded in death by her parents as well as both her siblings, Douglas Roach and Vial Ettia Lush; and her oldest son, Greg.
She is survived by her husband of the home, Donald; two sons, Bradford and Keary; three grandchildren, Kyler, Kyra and Kaiden; a great-grandchild, Casen Prophet; as well as numerous extended family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Narma was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she will be deeply and intensely missed by all who knew her.
