James Jr Proctor, son of Jim Proctor and Susie Seabolt, was born on July 28, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life to be with his Lord on Friday, March 15, 2013 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 7 months and 17 days.
James married Betty Seratt and they were blessed with a wonderful and loving family. He was an excellent provider for his family and made a living as a C&C Operator at Baldor Electric. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, attending church and spending time with his loved ones. Happy memories of James will fill the void left by his passing.
Preceding him in death was his mother: Susie Mae Seabolt-Vann, stepfather: Willie Vann, Father: Jim Proctor, stepmother: Geneva Proctor and sister: Rachel Lawrence.
James leaves behind his loving wife, Betty of the home in Stilwell, sons: Brian King of Charleston, AR, Julian Proctor of the home in Stilwell, daughters: Julie Eagle of Nicut, OK, Joleisa Proctor of Stilwell, grandsons: Taylor Mason King, Cody Dale Christie, Rylan Kyle Nofire, Evan Lee Nofire and Jeremiah Wade Nofire, granddaughter: Baylee Faith King, brothers: Joe Tom Glass, Wilkie Springwater, Woodrow Proctor, Joe James Proctor, Croley Proctor, Dennis Proctor, sisters: Viola Glass, Thelma Leach, Mary Fourkiller, Patricia Proctor, Rinda Catron, Lucy Wolf and Patty Duncan. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Charlie Shell and Bro. D.J. McCarter officiating. Interment followed at the Proctor Family Cemetery on the homeplace, Stilwell, Oklahoma.
