Arletta "Sandy" (Hyle) Primm
April 28, 1947 ~ June 19, 2017

Arletta (known to most as Sandy) Primm, age 70 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly of Camden, Arkansas, died on Monday, June 19, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born to the late Clarence and Iona Hyle on April 28, 1947, in Drummond, Oklahoma, and was the youngest of seven children. 

Sandy went to high school at Drummond Public School and graduated in 1965. She married Louie Alan Primm on March 19, 1966, and immediately became a military spouse, which she courageously endured until his retirement. In addition to raising their three daughters, she was often a caregiver to other family members. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Camden, Arkansas. Sandy was a strong Christian woman who was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed her flowers, needlepoint, cooking, and her pets. However, the brightest lights of her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved with her entire being. 

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Primm; parents, Clarence and Iona Hyle; her sister, Deanna Grant, and brothers, Walter Hyle and Richard Hyle. 

Survivors include her three daughters, Deborah (John) Hemauer of Camden, Arkansas, Tina (Mark) Shuck of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Carrie (Marcus) Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Tyler (Jenni) Elmore and Joshua (Holly) Elmore, both of Camden, Arkansas, Bridget (Paul) Poputa-Clean of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Leslie Shuck of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Trey Shuck of Edmond, Oklahoma, Shelby Anderson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, SA Christopher Anderson, stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois, Jacob Donald of Las Vegas, Nevada; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Nora ODea of Enid, Oklahoma, and Ava Reed of Pawnee, Oklahoma; brother, Victor Hyle of Enid, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Stephens Cemetery, Stephens, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214, or to the American Cancer Society, 6525 N Meridian Avenue #110, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116. 

The family would like to extend their sincere gratefulness and thankfulness to all the medical professionals and associated caregivers. We appreciate you more than you know.
