Memorial Services for Lee Elmer Prigmore will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2023, at the Alva Church of God with Rev. Dr. Sheryl White, officiating. Services under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Lee Elmer Prigmore, son of the late Thomas and Dora (Moore) Prigmore, was born April 10, 1939, in Alva, and passed away July 20, 2023, in Alva, at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 10 days.
Lee graduated high school in Alva and married Virginia Mary Mundinger on June 1, 1968, in Oklahoma City. He served in the National Guard for 32 years and was an E7. Lee also worked as an OG&E lineman for 27 years. He was a member of the Church of God and was part of the men's church club. Lee loved hunting, fishing, writing poems, painting, drawing, playing guitar and fiddle, and spending time with grandkids and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Patsy Woodson.
Lee is survived by his wife Virginia Prigmore of Alva; daughters Jenell Newman and husband Robbie of Dacoma, Virginia Craig and husband James of Kremlin, Melissa Prigmore and Fred Slaughter of El Reno, Lee Ann Morris and husband Tyler of Balko; grandchildren Hana Kimberling and husband Caleb of Perkins, Abigail Reynolds and husband Tafton of Alva, Bailey and Briley Craig of Kremlin, Crozier Prigmore of El Reno, and Brynlee Morris of Balko; great-grandchildren Cade Kimberling and Reeve Reynolds; and many other family members and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Cal Farley Boys Ranch or the Alva Education Foundation (please make checks to CFO).
