Louis "Pete" Pridgeon, age 83, longtime physical therapist and owner of Physical Therapy Center in Bartlesville, OK passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa, OK.
Pete was born on April 10, 1934 to George and June (Ware) Pridgeon in New Castle, WY. His childhood years were spent in Belle Fourche, SD. After graduating from the Mayo Clinic, he was the first physical therapist to be licensed and practicing in private practice in the state of Oklahoma.
Pete was preceded in death by step-son, Jimmy Perry.
He is survived by: wife, Joyce Pridgeon, of the home; 2 sons, Randy and Rod Pridgeon; 2 stepsons, John and Joe Perry and daughter-in-law Suzy Perry; 3 sisters, Doris Grosz, Sharon Hoidahl and Karen Burkhard, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Papa Pete will be greatly missed by all of his family and numerous friends.
No services are planned per his wishes.
