Patrick Gale Price

July 7, 1938 ~ November 15, 2009

Patrick G. Price, 71, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2009 after preaching his last sermon.

Pat was born in OKC on July 23, 1938.

He was currently pastor of Draper Lake Baptist Church.

Pat graduated from Central High School in 1956 and went on to play basketball and baseball at OBU in Shawnee where he earned his bachelors degree in 1961. He earned his masters degree from Southeastern State. He coached one year at Midwest City High School and was then hired as the first boys basketball coach at Carl Albert High School in Midwest City where he coached for 14 years. He left public school teaching to teach at Draper Lake Bible School and later became pastor.

His greatest joy was to read and study the Word and preach. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their activities. He was a lifelong CA Titans & NY Yankees fan.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Price, and brothers Johnny Price and Chuck Price.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Price, of the home; children Jay Price and wife Deena, Tim Price and wife Brandi, Kelley Taylor and husband Randy and Rebekah Price, all of OKC; nine grandchildren Sarah, Jordan, Zach, Caleb, Jared, Levi, Charissa, Isaac and Abbigayle; brothers Bill Price and wife Joyce of Piedmont and Jerry Price and wife Sharon of Bethany and sister-in-law Elli Price of Yukon and a host of extended family and friends.

We all look forward to our reunion in heaven.
