Carol Jane (Kahle) Price, born on July 11th, 1951 in Harvard, Illinois passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2025 at The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 73. She was the beloved daughter of the late Alvie and Elsie Kahle of Alden, IL.
Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was an inspiration to all she came in contact with. She was a caring and compassionate person who always had a smile on her face, love in her heart and words of wisdom for anyone willing to listen. Carol’s favorite pastimes included attending her children’s and grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities, spending time with family and friends and going to the casino.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Wendell Price of Bartlesville, OK and their daughter Melissa Frye (Mark) of Pawhuska, OK. Her memory will also be forever cherished by her 4 grandchildren; Jakob Price of Bartlesville, OK, Mercades Monge (Brett) of Lincoln, NB, Darienne Frye (R.W. Robertson) of Cleveland, OK and Evan Frye of Pawhuska, OK. Carol was also blessed with 4 great grandchildren; Rylan, Brynleigh, Leander and Adler, a loving niece Kathy Millar (Dave) of Edgerton, WI and many more friends and family who will deeply miss her contagious smile. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and oldest daughter Wendy (Price) Fox.
A graveside service and celebration of life will be conducted at 10 o’clock am on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Carol’s name to The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
