Lorna Lee Prewitt, 63, of Newalla, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at her home. She was born November 13, 1957 to Richard and Norma (Woods) Myers in South Bend, Indiana.
Lorna grew up in Arizona and California. She was raised by a foster family and lived most of her life in California, before settling in Newalla, Oklahoma where she has resided for the past 2 years.
She was married to Bill Prewitt and he preceded her in death.
Lorna worked as a C.N.A. for 20 years and most recently worked at Shawnee Care Center.
She enjoyed gambling and going to the Casinos, like to travel around the United States, especially traveling to Missouri every year.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Prewitt; and her parents, Richard and Norma Myers.
Survivors include 2 sons, Thomas and Crystal Lessing of McAlester, OK and Michael and Sherri Lessing of Bakersfield, CA; 1 granddaughter, Julie Lessing; 1 grandson, Ryan Lessing; sister, Laura Rhea of Newalla, OK; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home. No formal services will held be at this time. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
