A memorial service for Kathleen "Kathy" Rae Prewett, 59, of Enid will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Dan O�Daniel will officiate.
She was born Oct. 14, 1948, in Arkansas City, Kan., to Joseph and Lois Marie Barker Williams and died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, in Enid.
She graduated from Enid High School in 1966. She worked at Oklahoma Natural Gas and Williams Natural Gas Co. She married Jim Prewett June 2, 1990, in Enid.
She graduated from vo-tech as an LPN in 1993. She owned and operated New Beginnings Home Health Care in Enid for the last eight years. She was a member of Oakwood Christian Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Debbie Simmons of Kremlin, Christie Watkins of Carrier, Michelle Gilbert of Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., and Jennifer Childers of Little Rock Ark.; one brother Dewayne Williams of Enid; two sisters, Helena Gappa of Stillwater and Connie Johndrow of Enid; and 11 grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Jim, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Cancer Society and Hillsdale Christian School.
