Funeral services for James Larkin Prestridge, 77, of 4905 E. Turner Ave., a retired carpenter, were held Friday, Feburary 28, at 1 p.m. in the John N. Lisle Chapel.
Interment will be in the Fresno Memorial Gardens.
Prestridge died Sunday in his home after an illness of a year.
A native of Granbury, Texas, he had lived in Fresno County 22 years.
He retired 12 years ago.
He was a member of the Carpenters Union.
Surviving are his widow, Cynthia; four sons, Herbert J., Homer L., John Leroy, and George H. Prestridge, all of Fresno; three daughters, Mrs. Lois Miller of Fresno; and Mrs. Lola Mae Gardner and Mrs. Lillie Rhea Burton, both of New Mexico; two brothers, Uburn of Oklahoma; and Arron of New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Minerva Agee and Mrs. Margaret George, both of Oklahoma; twenty three grandchildren; thirty five great grandchildren; and numerous friends.
