Joe Don Prentice 62, of Durant, Oklahoma passed away Thursday November 9, 2017 at his home. He was born June 16, 1955 in Durant to Powell and Pauline Rice Prentice.

He was a pallet hauler and rancher.

He was preceded in death by his Parents "Coon" and Polly Prentice, Wife Dottie Prentice, Step-Son Royce Jones and Step-Grandson Waylon Whitt.

Surviving is his Daughter Jodi Waldo and Granddaughter Sabrina Waldo of Durant, Step-Daughters Ramona Jones of Cartwright, OK. Angela Ellis of Muskogee, Ok. and Joyce Jones of Colbert, OK.

A Memorial Service for Joe Don Prentice will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 18, 2017 at Cunningham Funeral Home with Dustin Cunningham officiating. The family extends a special thanks to Guardian Hospice and staff.
