Eric Potts, 51, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away Thursday March 24, 2016.
He was born January 17, 1965 in Norman, Oklahoma to Curtis Ray Potts and Quantilla Sue (Curry) Potts.
Eric grew up in Norman and was self-employed at Eric Potts Storm Shelters. Eric enjoyed music and was an amazing musician, specializing in Elvis Presley songs. He also enjoyed fishing, paintballing, and riding 4-wheelers at the family cabin at the Little River ranch in the Kiamichi Mountains in South Eastern Oklahoma. Eric had an amazing talent of making people laugh, and a smile that would brighten any room.
Eric was preceded in death by his son Aaron Eugene Potts of Norman. Grandparents, Joe and Juanita Curry of Norman and Earl and Gracie Potts of Norman.
Eric is survived by his daughter Abby Lynn Potts, and granddaughter Averie Lynn Rayburn of Norman, Ok, parents, Curtis Ray Potts and Quantilla Sue (Curry) Potts of Norman, Ok, one brother Kelly Ray Potts and wife Lorrie Meranda of Oklahoma City, Ok, one sister Lori Leigh (Potts) Deo and husband Darl Deo, of Norman, Ok, and his girlfriend Lori Lowe of Noble Ok. Eric is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews along with many cousins and close friends.
Viewing will be on Monday, April 4th from 8am-8pm at Havenbrook Funeral Home and Funeral Services on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10:00 am at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel.
