Laura Bee (Hart) Potter
September 15, 1929 ~ January 7, 2020

The world was blessed September 15, 1929 with Laura Bee Hart (Potter). She passed from this world to heaven January 7, 2020. She grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated Capital Hill High School in 1947. She met and fell in love with Haskell Potter from Stratford, OK . They were married April 17, 1948. Her wedding dress was stunning and made from Haskell’s paratrooper parachute. They had six children together.

She worked for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator. She loved animals and took in many strays in her lifetime, mostly due to her husband & children. She would nurse them back to health and give them a forever home. She was a Noble Grand of the Pauls Valley Rebekahs Lodge No. 157. She was a loving Mother and wife. She retired from a CPA assistant job at age 62 years. She loved to read and work puzzle books after retirement.

Survived by children Marilyn Alexander & family of OKC, Susan & Don Miller & family of Wellston, David & Maurene Potter & family of Choctaw, Tony & Maria Potter & family of OKC, James & Dellia Dion & family of OKC.

She is preceded in death by her husband Haskell Potter, her parents Samuel & Georgia Hart, Daughter Mary Ruth Potter, Brother Claude Hart; In-laws Charlie & Alta Potter, Boyd Potter, Haskell Cosby, Valton Potter, Lillian Mitchell, Ruth Chisholm; Son in law Stan Alexander, Grandson Lynn Rush & Jeremy Potter, Great grandsons Aydon Dion & Joshua Rush. May you find peace & rest in the arms of God and forever be in our hearts Mom. Funeral

Services; 11:00 AM Friday January 10, 2020 at DeArman/Pickard Chapel Stratford, Oklahoma. Officiating; Rev. Keith Stevens.
