Debbie Carol (Hosner) Pogue

March 5, 1953 ~ February 25, 2022

Visitation for family and friends of Debbie Pogue will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Criswell Funeral Home.

Debra Carol Pogue, 68, of Ada passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 5, 1953 at Lawton, OK. to Gerald Edwin and Virginia Opal Tobias Hosner. Debbie and her family moved to California and she graduated from Torrance High School.

She married Marcus Pogue in 1980. In 1984 they along with their son, Tyler, moved to Ada.

In 1993, Debbie went to work for Dr. David Buxton, DDS. Debbie was the office manager for Buxton Dental Office and later for Dr. Mark Weems. Debbie was loved by all her patients and known for her beautiful smile greeting them at the front desk. Debbie retired in March, 2021.

Debbie and Marcus enjoyed traveling, especially to Wyoming. Debbie was incredibly passionate about her family and friends. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was the ultimate homemaker, wonderful cook and loved spending time in the garden.

She is survived by her husband, Marcus, of the home; son, Tyler and his wife Kacie of Frogville, OK; she was “Grammie” to her beautiful grandchildren, Stran, Cross, Tell and Maysa; and her brother, Greg Hosner and his wife Carla of Deer Park WA; and other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her father-in law and mother-in-law, James and Louise Pogue.
